Love the hood idea but, is not really working for full time turnout. Maybe some velcro behind the snaps on the blanket to keep the back of the hood from flopping over idk. Had to take them off as the rain went down the opening. Would not recommend if you have any barbwire type fencing.. BUT they are very cozy and warm for cold nights..

The stitching on the velcro Parts on the neck piece only lasted a week. My horse is turned out alone and there are no trees or anything for his blanket to get caught on and the velcro pieces have already ripped out just the neck being removed once or twice in the past week I've had the blanket. A little disappointed. Other than the stitching on the neck straps the blanket is wonderful and fits absolutely perfect.

I have one blanket that is too large for the horse but the other one works. Can I return the one for a smaller size? It's unopened.
