Purchased this blanket for my barrel horse. We sold a yearling in Arizona and since I have a daughter that lives in Phoenix we decided to haul him to the lady. He is a yearling going from northern Utah snowing when we left we decided to blanket him put it on made adjustments and it fit wonderfully and he didn’t sweat at all.

The blanket itself is wonderfully made and material is great so far but... my gelding is cow bred and the neck is cut too high and tight. Even released the neck velcro fully and buckling on 1 st hook on the chest still is pulling it together tightly. So I fear there may be some rubbing marks left from the blanket. You will see how high and tight the neck is compared to the rest of the blanket in my photo.

As a lifelong Alaskan horse girl, we have had some blankets. These exceeded expectations for the price point especially. Color/pattern is great, weight is perfect, fit is good on my smaller bodied horse. I would size up if you have a chunky one. Belly straps are a little hard the first couple times, but seem to break in nicely.

Absolutely LOVE this winter blanket! With the snow and wind in Nebraska, it keeps my mare warm and dry. Happy mare makes for a happy life! The fact I can cinch it to her so no wind gets in between Sister and her blanket, makes it’s absolutely perfect.
